In order to uphold Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) precautionary measures, CDO Emergency Operation Center Unit issued a notice on Sept 8 regarding the mandatory wearing of face shields in every public establishment.

Aside from face masks, face shields are now mandatory for entering commercial places like shopping malls and public markets, and is also highly encouraged in all public places to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 as resolved by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) last Sept 3.

The public is also advised to comply to public health standards at all times—wearing of face masks, observance of social or physical distancing, and disinfecting with alcohol or frequent hand washing with soap and water when going out.

This public notice also reminds that the rule under the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) status of the city is still, “stay-at-home.” Authorized Person Outside Residence (APOR) should carry their respective Barangay Exit Passes at all times.C
